A county road shoulder extension project was completed following a 1-Call to identify underground utilities and ensure safe construction. The work included subgrade preparation, placement and compaction of road base material along both sides of the roadway, and extension of the shoulders into the county right-of-way. Traffic control measures such as temporary lane closures, signage, cones, and guided traffic were implemented to maintain safety, and the site was cleaned and restored upon project completion.
